STUDENT WORK

If you wish to land a job in the creative department at a halfway decent shop and don’t have a portfolio with a minimum of 4 campaigns that are at least 3 ads deep, you won’t get a job. If that portfolio doesn’t contain any samples of alternative media ideas or guerrilla marketing, you won’t get a job. If your work consists of beautiful imagery, clever copy and consistent themes, cool. But if that work lacks game changing ideas, unique human insights and doesn’t cause people to shout, ‘holy shit, I wish I thought of that.’ You won’t get a job. You probably won’t even get an internship. Where you went to college doesn’t matter and good grades mean less. The only thing that will get you in to see someone who could hire you is the type of work you see here. Sorry. These are things we learned the hard way. And that’s why we teach our way.
